What this site publishes

Certificates of registration of businesses, as the State of New York publishes them. The names of a business's officers and its phone number are in the state file and are not republished. A sole proprietor registered under a personal name, without a trade name, is searchable by certificate number but no page lists it.

What your browser sends

No analytics, no advertising, no cookies. Searches run in your browser against static files. A click on a referral link is counted (site, link and page — no visitor identifier). The host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps ordinary server logs.

How we are paid

• Dated reports and Pro access.
• Referrals: pages and records carry one of two links — to a micro1 video-data program for businesses, or to Registres, an independent data gateway. This site may be paid a fee if a business that applies through one of these links is accepted. No one pays to appear here.

Corrections and removal

The data is a public state record. If something is wrong, or you want an entry removed from this site, write to us: we cannot change the state's file, but this site is not the state.
